Solitude And Tranquillity 2

You know, I think I will start a blog called ‘Solitude And Tranquillity‘ and just put up pictures like this on it. I love these simple ethereal type photos that are full of atmosphere – and empty of people.

I  would love to get back in to photography but as with so many other things poverty excludes it. Maybe one day…

That’s what I love about winter, the pristine peace. Can peace only exist in solitude? Can society only ever bring conflict? These and many other deeply philosophical issue will never be answered by a thicko like me. Have a nice day – before some bugger louses it up.

Solitude And Tranquillity

Ain’t that a glorious view. I can just imagine sitting on the end of that dock soaking up— well, nothing really. Just being there, existing in the moment. A few seconds of respite from this insane species who seem to insist on spending every second of every day locked in conflict. And if one doesn’t exist then they create it.

Admittedly I would be sat there with a snow-encased sphincter but that would be a price worth paying for the solitude and tranquillity.

Starting A Micro Business

Starting a Micro Business is the title of a new lens I have done on Squidoo, so if you feel like taking a look be my guest. It is more inspirational than a step-by-step guide, but if you need a step-by-step guide to start a micro business you may be better of asking why your starting a business at all. (Ain’t I a grumpy bugger?) And of course starting any business in Britain means fighting your way past Satan’s spawn, the public sector.

And look at that picture. A little Thoreau style log cabin in the middle of nowhere – heaven! Now if only I can get a location independent business going I will be knocking on the door of something similar. My own little snow bound hermitary away from the insanity of humanity. Bliss.

Holy Smoke! A Comment!

Over on Squidoo (hence the image above) I stuck up a new lens (called Squidoo’s Greatest Failure)  a couple of days ago and someone has actually commented on it. I was gob-smacked. I’ve even had a five star review. I can only assume as it is Christmas they were obviously drunk. But wtf – I will take what I can get.
